German Bundesliga

The German Bundesliga is the primary professional football (soccer) league in Germany. Established in 1963, it is the top tier of the German football league system. The league consists of 18 teams that compete annually for the championship title, with the season typically running from August to May. Teams earn points based on their match results—three points for a win, one point for a draw, and none for a loss. The team with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the champion.

The Bundesliga is known for its high level of competition, passionate fan base, and significant player development programs. It also features a promotion and relegation system, whereby the bottom teams are relegated to the second tier, known as 2. Bundesliga, and the top teams from that league are promoted to the Bundesliga.
