International Relations

International Relations (IR) is the study and management of interactions between sovereign states, as well as between states and non-state actors, such as international organizations, corporations, and non-governmental organizations. It encompasses the analysis of foreign policy, international conflict and cooperation, trade relations, and global issues such as human rights, environmental challenges, and security. IR seeks to understand the dynamics of power, diplomacy, and the influence of cultural and ideological factors in global affairs. The field is interdisciplinary, drawing on insights from political science, history, economics, sociology, and law, and it examines how states and non-state entities interact in the international system.
